We’ve been keeping good company this Christmas at Tesco

So many of you filled our donation cages at Dereham, Swaffham & Fakenham Tesco stores last weekend. We had such a heart-warming response and thanks to those of you who stopped for a chat and encouraged our volunteers.

The total weights are astonishing…

1,352kg in Dereham which equates to 169 emergency food parcels, 561kg in Swaffham which will feed 70 people for 3 days and 607kg from Fakenham’s shoppers which will provide 75 food parcels.

As well as our team of fantastic volunteers, Dereham companies Zip Water and Purdy Contracts supported us with 15 volunteers and brought a great amount of festive cheer to the occasion!

Our food bank is a true community effort and we are truly thankful to you all!
