About our foodbank
Here is an introduction to our project.
Our foodbank is a project, founded in 2012, by local churches and community groups, working together towards stopping hunger in our local area.
We have Foodbank Distribution Centres in Dereham, Swaffham & Fakenham all manned by a team of about 45 volunteers. Donations are sorted and parcels packed 3 mornings a week by a team of 15 volunteers in our Dereham warehouse.
More than 90% of our donations are from you, the public. Your generosity is vital as is the time given up by so many big-hearted & committed individuals who serve us in many different ways.
Our foodbanks are run by the local community for the local community.
